This depends on how much CBD you have in the bottle.

It generally ranges from 50mg to 300mg daily with 300 being peak neurogenesis (brain repair - more here).


So how do we determine drops of CBD?


A standard tincture of CBD has 30ml or 1 ounce. It's usually shown in ml.


To figure out the amount of CBD per dropper, you can divide total CBD by 30 since each dropper is about 1ml (30ml total in bottle).


So…some examples...

  • 1000mg bottle - each dropper is approximately 33 mg (1000/30)
  • 2000mg bottle - each dropper is approximately 66 mg (2000/30)
  • 6000mg bottle - each dropper is approximately 200 mg (6000/30)


Okay…so how many drops per dropper. That's about 30.



  • 1000mg bottle - each drop is about 1 mg
  • 2000mg bottle - each drop is about 2 mg
  • 6000mg bottle - each drop is about 6 mg


These are very low levels…just a head's up. Usually, CBD per drop is more for pets.


A full dropper of the 1000mg bottle is 33mg which is a very low, wellness dose in terms of anxiety.


Most people see results from 50mg and higher.

To reach that level, you could do a ½ dropper of the 6000mg bottle (here) 3 times a day.


This matches research since peak CBD is about 4-6 hours after use and taking CBD after a meal can boost availability by 4x's! This is a way to save as well.


If you hold it under your tongue for up to 60 seconds, it can further boost bioavailability.
